This movie tells the story through the in-depth opinions, knowledge, and experience of Dr Semir Osmanagic (the principal investigator and anthropologist in the discovery of the pyramids), other scientists, volunteers, and local people. The story goes that one ancient civilization built the pyramids, another one preserved them by filling them in, and a third one is now excavating them.
